About

What is a community council

A community council is a voluntary organisation set up by statute by the local authority (DumGal) and run by local residents to act on behalf of its area, striving to make it a better place to live.    Here at North Milk Community Council, we represent a population of nearly 400 residents covering an area stretching from Boreland/Berryscaur through Corrie Common and from Paddockhole though to Bankshill.
